What is a Physical Therapist?
Physical therapists are movement experts. We are university trained in injury diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Many of us have specific additional training in sports, health, fitness and nutrition.
What do I need to bring?
Bring your driver’s license, insurance card, and referral from your medical provider. Also, please be prepared to provide previous medical/surgical history, medication lists, and imaging reports.
How many visits will I need?
The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the physical therapist will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.
What should I wear to my appointment?
You may want to wear shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes.
How do I make an appointment?
Please call 314 - 778 - 9443.
Do I have to be referred by a doctor?
As of 2023, patients no longer need a physician’s referral to see a physical therapist, making it easier to access specialized evidence-based healthcare.
It depends on many factors including diagnosis, severity of impairments, past medical history, personal goals, etc.
We see and treat patients for a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. Please visit our Services for a more comprehensive list. Call us (314 - 778 - 9443) if you are unsure if we treat your condition or have any other questions.
Please check with your insurance provider in order to understand your benefits.
We understand that things come up but we ask that you provide 24 hours notice before cancellation so that we have the opportunity to offer that appointment to someone else in need. Please call 314 - 778 - 9443.
